Quick Paintover

Hey Alex, ik heb ff een sneller paintover gedaan. Er zijn een paar dingen waar je op moet letten zoals je perspectif. Als die zeppelin boven de kijker vliegt zou je nooit de "deck" kunnen zien... of hij zou een erg scherpe bocht moeten maken :P maar dan zou die ook meteen meer achter de ballon zitten.

Daarnaast als je je paintings in 3 lagen verdeeld, voor - mid - achter .. betekent het niet zwart - grijs - wit.

Wat je eigenlijk krijgt is:
Voor = Veel contrast, hier mag je gebruik maken van je tonen 0-100 (o zwart 100 wit) Maar vaak zitten er vooral donker kleuren hier maar ze kunnen velle highlights hebben.
Mid = Hier komen je tonen iets dichter bij elkaar 20-90 geen extreem wit of zwart maar wel genoeg ruimte om onderwerp te omschrijven.
Achter = 40 - 50 bij... erg dichtbij elkaar waardoor je t alleen maar vlakken ziet en geen detail meer.

Het verschilt natuurlijk per painting... but I hope you get the general idea =P

This is my personal project, still working on the story, the earlier drawing of the forest was also for this project.

Meet Gillian Twain and Kek Io’wo’qu, but you can call him Ike.
Gillian is an intelligent girl with the dream of traveling and discovering new organisms and write history, although her parents do not support her in her dream of becoming a great researcher and want her to stay close to home and do a job that is assured of an income.

Kek Io’wo’qu crashed here on earth, reason of his visit to earth is not sure yet. But Gillian found him nearly killed by the crash in the woods when she was walking back from school.

ff een tijdje eruit geweest, beetje pech gehad met de auto.

maar ik heb de plaat aangepast op basis van de feedback die Luc heeft gegeven, ik heb je paint-over grotendeels als basis gebruikt ik hoop dat je dat niet erg vind.

moeten een japans kinder kaartspelletje om letters te leren aanpassen zodat het leuk is voor volwassen.

alleen wij hoeven maar 5 kaarten te maken ipv het hele deck. this is number 1

if i were u i would redo the whole piece start out with your focals en work towards them

you have 2 focals the green light and the girl make sure they are on screen not some break light through the trees becouse that light sucks alot of attention. if u want that light then use it for your focal points.

think about were u wanna place your focals and how u place them becouse those are your most important parts. so dont place them on the edge of your paper and think about their size.

dit is de eerste van een serie tekeningen, ik moet nog een goeie werktitel zoeken ervoor maar ik heb al eerder hiervoor een illustratie gemaakt (meisje met Alien kat onder tafel)en in deze scene ontmoet ze die kat.

Something for digital creation class. I hope this is what the teacher meant. I think the focus was supposed to be on atmosphere? Oh well, I'll find out tomorrow.

Edit: Minor fixes and some concept drawings added. And wow, the level of this class is absolutely shit. People not finishing work, or just doing 5 min drawings. Or completely ripping characters. Dimme would burn them.
