midnight sketching
Also I never do these kind of things, but they're actually really fun to do. I should do these more often. I might just finish this one too.

Some more value practice
Got some sci-fi stuff going on. About 45 minutes again. Kinda easy-mode though, massive dark-light contrast. Oh wellll, moving onn.

CONTEST TIME!
I've seen too many people here struggling with perspective. IT IS TIME TO FIX THAT SHIT.
This time it'll be a quick one. Make a small drawing (no more than 1h 30min). Make sure that the perspective reads.
Include the following:
1. Atmospheric perspective.
2. 2-points or 3-points perspective.
3. Scaling.
It doesn't matter if it detailed or not, as long as it is readable.
Deadline: Monday August 1st 23:59 (and 59 sec.)
p.s. make it too rough and it won't read well. Make it too smooth and you'll be wasting time. Colour is not obligatory.

litte paint over, i dont have much exp with lighting such scenes so u might wanna ask Erik cuz hes better with the lightzzz
but the main thing is that u lack is focus. u use a nice rainbow range of colors (which is possible but they have to work together, yours do not)but i think u dont know why u are placing them. so do research look at pictures that express the same mood u want to achieve. studie them and then apply what uve learned there to your painting.
or keep them next to your painting so u can look at it
