Deft for Lead

First batch of thumbnails.

Enough with the acid-spitting, goo-puking, back-humping zombies. This bird fanatic uses his zombie crows to bring even more chaos in the chaos. The crows cause massive distraction and little bits of damage which adds up over time. Since it's a big flock of birds, the survivors will have a hard time killing them.

So far, I like 1 and 7 the most, but I'll keep on thumbnailing till I get the design down the way I want it.

  3. ye what robin said.
    remeber the game contraints =P
its part of the "design" process.

not just draw a really scary monster yay!

im not sure crows fit the left for dead steeze...
cause so far specials have all been about mutations.. and crows seem more like a combonation.

  4. I kinda liked the idea of this bird guy that just mutated and merged with a/some birdcage(s), thus using his birds to attack. Think out of the box you know. Besides, zombies and crows always go well together.

Kinda makes me wonder what happened to all the animals in the L4D world, since you see no animals at all.

  7. one of the earliest concepts of Left4dead had some kind of guarddog as a zombie that dragged off Survivors. later on it turned into the Smoker. Same goes for the Screamer, a screaming zombie that could attract other zombies. yup, thats the Boomer. sorta.

I like the scaarecrow idea. And yes, I also wondered what happened to all the little birdies and cats. That, and the fact that there's still light in some buildings while the world is in chaos...

  8. OHSHITSON im on garillaz,

  9. not to be a party pooper...but it seems like the Left4Dead team already had similar ideas (at least when it comes to a bunch of small animals context-wise) http://cghub.com/files/Image/093001-094000/93377/381_large.jpg
